I wanted to share a really good one I had recently.

Insured making an underinsured claim, wrote this big sob story 2 page letter about how he couldn’t work out, bike, lift his kid, go to the gym, etc. He must have forgotten how he posted about doing 4,000 pushups, riding his bike, working out and taking his kid to the gym.

I was especially happy with a recent finding. Your analyst was able to pinpoint a post-comment where the subject acknowledged responsibility for causing her own injury. This will be a nice surprise when we enter negotiation with her attorney! 

I am an attorney retained by [confidential]. Social Discovery did a great social media download for one of the plaintiffs in my case and we have a motion to preclude filed by Plaintiff.

In this case, Eric is our plaintiff, and Bill is an “independent witness” who is obviously not an independent witness at all, they are friends. Additionally, one of the tiktok posts shows Eric racing which is going to paint him in a very poor light where it concerns the facts of loss here.

I won’t know for certain until the case is settled and dismissed, but I EXPECT that these reports turned this situation from a $100k + cost to under $10k.

I have been happy with the reports that I have received thus far! I feel like the turnaround time is very good and the reports are detailed enough where I can get the information I need/am looking for. I also think the open communication between us is great, especially when your team finds additional information.

Thank you for the report you provided. We were able to match posts in close proximity to doctor’s visits and show potential inconsistency with pain complaints and general inconsistencies with deposition testimony.

The report was incredibly helpful. We were able to confirm the subject was using a fake VIN number on a luxury sports car he claimed to have bought for $140K in cash. Turns out the details didn’t match up at all - the GRX you identified throughout the report was key.

We've notified the local police since this kind of misrepresentation is a felony.

I’m using the report in my negotiations in a claim where the claimant’s attorney is reporting that she has lifelong impairment. He was surprised by the photos and said his client must have had a 'miraculous but temporary recovery.'

The report you provided was GOLD! There are pictures and videos of the plaintiff traveling and riding in a car that looks like a bumper car. Meanwhile, she is claiming a leg injury that prevents her from working.

The subject claimed she had to get rid of her engagement ring due to bed bugs—but the report included clear photos of her and her husband still wearing their rings. Her lawyer also stated she couldn’t travel, yet the report uncovered images of them on international trips.

I have nothing but positive feedback to provide on my first order. The result gave me entirely new information about the injured party that I was not aware of and the turnaround time exceeded expectations. In the event of a lawsuit, this has given us targeted information which can be used during written and oral discovery.

Please pass along a big thank you and great job to the analyst/investigator on this file! The claimant had extensive social media activity under an alias, and the analyst identified key posts that will likely contradict the injured worker’s allegations.

Their attention to detail was outstanding—they caught a small statement from the claimant admitting to having ‘three legitimate sources of income.

Because we were able to view YouTube videos in your report, we determined that the videos were not posted in real time—we could tell by the clothing the insured was wearing.

This helped us recognize that the insured likely never repaired the bike after a bad accident the year before and may have had a financial or mechanical motive to report the theft. That, in turn, raised questions about the Custom Parts and Equipment he claimed were on the bike at the time of the alleged theft. When we reviewed the receipts he provided, we found that he had purchased—but later returned—those custom items before his collision.

Your report also revealed that he was using the bike for racing, which is a major violation.

That claim was denied. We couldn’t have made an accurate decision without the Social Discovery Report. The functionality embedded in your reports is outstanding.
